Michigan regulators are opening up Michigan Market to Marijuana mega growers

According to an advisory released on Thursday said that state is opening up the medical Marijuana business to big-time grow operations.
Last year legislature passed medical marijuana bill. In that bill, they created three classes of licenses for Marijuana growers Class A- up to 500 plants, Class B- up to 1000 Plants, Class C- up to 1500 Plants.
The rules advisory released this week says that a person or business can apply for as many of the Class C licenses as they want. Some of the potential growers believe that this ruling will squeeze out the small operators from medical marijuana industry.
It’s more expensive for the large-scale growers to get into business as the application fee will cost around $4000 and $8000. Above all the applicants have to prove that they have the capital for the operation, insurance and security.
This newly regulated business is expected to generate $7-11 million sales in a year and $21 million a year tax revenues.
