The documentary “India's daughter” broadcast was advanced by the BBC from its original schedule as the protests in India are heightening up. BBC initially planned to air the documentary on March 8 – coinciding with International Women's Day. The interview of one of the six men, who raped the 23-year-old physiotherapy student on December 16, 2012 on-board a moving bus in Delhi, has erupted the anger in nation.

After huge protests by the parliamentarians, social rights activists, women associations and others human rights groups, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the documentary maker violated the conditions on which the permission was granted.

"Our government condemns the incident of December 16, 2012 in the strongest possible terms and will not allow any attempt by any individual, group or organisation to leverage such unfortunate incidents for commercial benefits," Home Minister Rajnath Singh said in a statement in both houses of Parliament on Wednesday.

"In what condition this order was given I have asked for full information on that. In future, no one will be given permission to interview rapists," the Home Minister said, as both houses saw members protest against the documentary.

The Delhi Police is likely to question Leslee Udwin, the British filmmaker who made documentary through the interview of convict Mukesh Singh in Tihar jail.

There are many versions emerged as the controversial documentary came in to light:

#one side of people are saying it as the mistake and a disrespect to the women society of India.

#Some other are saying how come the filmmaker got the permission to interview the driver and rape accused in Tihar jail.

#others are saying the mental condition of the convict Mukesh Singh is not good, and

#some others are saying that the mentality of the sadist men has been revealed by the rape accused.

However, India lost its status by projecting the contradicting opinions on the freedom of expression and popularized the documentary containing unethical and indecent version of men. So called established laws permitted her to interview, and the protests across the nation imposed ban on airing. But, the BBC has taken their own decision to air and to reveal what the man has said on the rape victims and rapists.
