Renowned actor Dharmendra's supporters are worried about his wellbeing after he was taken to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Monday. On Tuesday morning, his daughter Esha Deol shared on social media that her father is doing well and improving. Family members like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Tanya were seen arriving at the hospital that day. Bollywood star Salman Khan also came to the hospital to check on Dharmendra’s health, along with Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Ameesha Patel, and more. A spokesperson for his son, actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol, refuted claims that the Sholay legend had been placed on a ventilator Monday afternoon. "Mr Dharmendra is doing well and is under medical supervision. More updates will be provided as they become available. Please refrain from spreading false information about his health. We ask everyone to pray for his quick recovery and to honor the family's need for privacy," stated the PR representative.
Dharmendra is celebrated for his iconic roles in films like Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Phool Aur Patthar, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Seeta Aur Geeta, Raja Jani, Jugnu, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Dost, Sholay, Pratiggya, Charas, Dharam Veer, and many others. Jio Studios have also delayed the release of the trailer for Dhurandhar, which was supposed to happen tomorrow. Veteran actor Dharmendra had a medical treatment in April. In a video, he briefly spoke with photographers and talked about the procedure he underwent. He said, “I still have a lot of strength, and I feel great... I had a graft done on my eye. So I’m here.” After discussing his eye, he added, “Love you all, my friends, my fans. I’m strong.” The actor had a bandage over his right eye while he spoke. Dharmendra spent most of his time during the Covid years at a farmhouse in Lonavala. He frequently shared posts and videos from the location, showcasing the birds that visited him and the beautiful scenery.
