Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has introduced the Victoris, marking its second mid-size SUV and the new top model in its Arena dealership range. Situated above the Brezza, the Victoris is constructed on the Grand Vitara’s framework and embodies Maruti’s fresh branding of “Got It All,” which merges smart technology, luxurious comfort, comprehensive safety, and flexible engine choices. Reservations are now open at Arena dealerships and online, requiring a starting fee of Rs 11,000. The SUV showcases a modern and smooth design, featuring a sculpted look with LED projector headlights, connected LED tail lights, roof rails, and aerodynamically styled alloy wheels. The interior boasts a black-and-ivory dual-tone theme, complete with a soft-touch dashboard, textured seat fabric, piano black accents, and a panoramic sunroof that adds to the spacious ambiance. Buyers can customize their SUV using the Raffin Package, which offers dark chrome detailing on the exterior, skid plate highlights, dual-tone seat coverings, illuminated door sills, and high-quality interior finishes.
The Victoris will be available in ten body colors, consisting of seven single-tone and three dual-tone selections. It introduces two new colors, Mystic Green and Eternal Blue, to its lineup. In terms of size, the Victoris is 4,360 mm long, 1,795 mm wide, and 1,655 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. It comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels featuring 215/60 tires. Inside, the Victoris is designed for tech-minded buyers. The interior includes a 26.03 cm entirely digital instrument cluster that offers customizable settings and a 25.65 cm SmartPlay Pro X touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a built-in app store containing over 35 apps, over-the-air updates, and Alexa Auto Voice AI. A segment-first Infinity by Harman audio system, boasting 8 speakers with Dolby Atmos 5.1 surround sound, guarantees a ‘Theatre on Wheels’ experience. Next-Gen Suzuki Connect provides more than 60 connected car features, including eCall emergency support. Other upscale features include a smart powered tailgate with various gesture controls, ventilated front seating, an 8-way powered driver’s seat, wireless charging with cooling capabilities, Type-C fast charging ports, a PM2.5 filter with air quality index display, and 64-color ambient lighting.
The Victoris comes with several options for its engine. The 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine generates 103bhp and 139Nm of torque, and it can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. This setup provides a mileage of 21.18 km/l for the manual version and 21.06 km/l for the automatic. Additionally, there's a strong hybrid variant fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, equipped with EV mode and an e-CVT gearbox, which produces 116bhp and achieves an impressive 28.65 km/l. Maruti also has an S-CNG version that has 87bhp and 121Nm of torque, featuring a unique underbody fuel tank design that saves trunk space, while offering a mileage of 27.02 km/kg. For those who love adventure, there is an ALLGRIP Select 4x4 model with a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters that offers different driving modes for various terrains and includes Hill Descent Control.
Safety is a major focus in the Victoris. This SUV has achieved a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP, with scores of 31.66 out of 32 for adult safety and 43 out of 49 for child safety. All versions come equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program, Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, hill hold assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and sensors for parking in reverse. The advanced safety features are boosted by Level 2 ADAS, which includes over 10 smart driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control that adjusts speed for curves, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind spot detection, high-beam assistance, and alerts for cross-traffic at the back. The SUV also features a high-definition 360-degree camera with 11 different viewing angles, disc brakes for all wheels, and an electronic parking brake with brake hold. Every Victoris is protected by Maruti’s ARENA Safety Shield and comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km.

The Victoris is designed not only for the Indian market but will also be available in over 100 countries worldwide. In India, it enhances Arena's status by introducing its first genuine flagship SUV. Maruti's SUV range has already grown its market share from 8.9% in FY21 to 28% in FY25, and with the Victoris, the company anticipates a further boost in growth within the competitive mid-size SUV market.
