Vivo, the leading smartphone brand, begins its journey in India for the year 2024 by introducing the Vivo X100 series, consisting of the Vivo X100 Pro and X100. These flagship phones prioritize delivering an exceptional camera experience, enhanced by cutting-edge algorithms and Zeiss lenses. The Vivo X100 Pro aims to compete with premium Android flagships from brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, and Oppo, focusing on two key elements: improving zoom capabilities and simplifying portrait photography, eliminating the need for complicated camera settings. Additionally, the Vivo X100 Pro introduces the ZEISS apochromatic telephoto lens, enabling users to capture high-quality portraits even at 10X zoom.

Featuring a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate, the Vivo X100 Pro offers an immersive visual experience. Utilizing an 8T LTPO panel, Vivo employs advanced technology to enhance viewing quality while prioritizing eye protection.

For the first time, Vivo introduces V-ProMotion technology, which adjusts the screen's frame rate based on user preferences. This LTPO screen refresh rate optimization significantly reduces power consumption, optimizes GPU frame rate, and minimizes display latency, resulting in a smoother and more efficient user experience.

Among the features of the Vivo X100 Pro are advanced light control and high-frequency dimming at 2160 Hz. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Powering the Vivo X100 Pro is the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, which boasts the new V3 imaging chip, G720 GPU, and a 10MB system cache. This chipset is based on the new Armv9.2 Architecture. The device also offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory. As for the camera, it features three lenses on the back: a 50 MP IMX989 with OIS and a 1-Inch Sensor as the main lens, a 50 MP JN1 AF for ultra-wide shots, and a 50 MP OV64B with 4X Optical 100X Floating Telephoto ZEISS lens, all powered by the V3 imaging chip.

On the other hand, the Vivo X100 shares similar tech specs with its sibling, but there are differences in terms of the camera, battery capacity, and imaging chip. Instead of the flagship-grade camera found in the Vivo X100 Pro, the Vivo X100 features a Main lens with 50 MP VCS IMX920, f/1.57, OIS, an Ultra-wide lens with 50 MP JN1 AF, and a Portrait lens with 64 MP OV64B, 3X Optical 100X Digital (Telephoto) ZEISS lens. It is powered by the V2 imaging chip. Additionally, it comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W flash charge. The device will be available in memory options of 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB.

Both smartphones are equipped with Funtouch OS14 and come with a promise of three years of OS updates.

At Vivo's Greater Noida facility, which employs approximately 10,000 individuals, the production of vivo X100 Series devices will be taking place in India. The Vivo X100 Pro offers a variant with a storage capacity of 16GB+512GB, which can be purchased for Rs 89,999. The Vivo X100 is available in two variants: one with a storage capacity of 12GB+256GB for Rs 63,999 and another with a storage capacity of 16GB+512GB for Rs 69,999. Both devices can be purchased with the convenient option of 24 Months No Cost EMI | Zero Down Payment.
