Lava has introduced the Bold 2 5G, which follows the Lava Bold 5G that was released in April of the previous year. This is an affordable smartphone that has a 50-megapixel camera at the back and includes a 5,000mAh battery, just like its earlier model. The device will be available in two colors and will start selling on March 19. The Lava Bold 2 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also includes an in-display fingerprint reader and supports face unlock for security. For taking pictures, the Lava Bold 2 is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera that uses a Sony sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel punch hole camera for taking selfies and making video calls. In terms of processing power, the Lava Bold 2 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chip, which can reach a maximum speed of 2.6GHz. The manufacturer reports it has over 5,00,000 AnTuTu Score. This phone runs on Android 15 and has an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust and water. For battery life, Lava’s new device includes a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

In terms of design, the Lava Bold 2 has a flat frame and measures 7.55 mm thick. On the back, there's a rectangular camera setup with two cut-out cameras and a flashlight. The Lava Bold 2 is available in one version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, priced at Rs 12,999. This price is part of a special launch promotion that includes extra bank discounts. Lava will also offer free home service for buyers of the Lava Bold 2 5G. The smartphone will begin selling on March 19 through Amazon. It can be purchased in two colors: Feather White and Midnight Black. Last month, Lava launched the Bold N2 as a budget-friendly option for price-sensitive customers. This device is priced at Rs 7,499, runs on Android 15, and is powered by a Unisoc 9863A octa-core processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Bold N2 features a 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. For cameras, it has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens, plus a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The device is sustained by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It's important to note that the Bold N2 does not have 5G capability.
