Infinix GT 50 Pro Launched with Liquid Cooling

Infinix GT 50 Pro was introduced in some countries on Friday as the new version of last year's GT 30 Pro. This smartphone, designed for gaming, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, along with 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 512GB. It comes in three colors and has special shoulder buttons that can recognize ten different pressure levels. The Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch screen that can refresh at rates as high as 144Hz, and it houses a 6,500mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging. The starting price for the Infinix GT 50 Pro is IDR 69,98,000 (about Rs. 35,000) for the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 512GB version with the same RAM is priced at IDR 74,99,000 (around Rs. 40,000). This phone is available on online shopping sites in Indonesia and comes in colors like Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier.

The dual SIM (Nano + Nano) Infinix GT 50 Pro operates on Android 16 with XOS 16 and has a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS 1.5K (1,208x2,644 pixels) display, boasting a 93.18 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display can refresh at rates ranging from 30Hz to 144Hz. It supports a touch sampling rate of up to 330Hz and has an instant touch sampling rate of 2800Hz. The panel can reach peak brightness levels of 4500 nits and covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color range. It has TÜV Low Blue Light certification, and the screen is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Inside, the Infinix GT 50 Pro contains a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, along with a Mali-G720 MC7 graphics unit. The device has 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. For cameras, the Infinix GT 50 Pro includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main lens with f/1.59 aperture and optical image stabilization, plus an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13-megapixel front camera. The Infinix GT 50 Pro is fitted with a G-sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, light sensor, and a fingerprint scanner under the display. It also features an X-axis linear motor and an infrared blaster. The phone has an IP64 rating making it resistant to dust and water. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, OTG, NFC, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port.


Like the Infinix GT 30 Pro, the latest Infinix GT 50 Pro includes special shoulder triggers called Open-Cut Pressure-Sense GT Trigger, which provide a gaming experience similar to a console. It allows up to four adjustable settings for each trigger and recognizes 10 different pressure levels. The device has a latency of 20ms and is built to endure more than 3 million presses. The GT Trigger also lets users quickly launch apps, manage video playback, customize light effects, and more. Additionally, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is equipped with a unique N1 network management chip created by the company to improve connectivity. This new phone features Infinix's HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, which includes a micro-pump for liquid cooling and a diaphragm area of 6,437 sq mm that helps dissipate heat quickly. The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a 6,500mAh battery that supports wired fast charging at 45W and reverse wired charging at 10W. It also enables wireless charging at 30W and wireless reverse charging at 5W. When used with Infinix's GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, the phone can handle wireless bypass charging. The device measures 162.44x77. 23x8. 15mm and has a weight of 198g.
