Fees :
Adult : $15.00, Ages 18 and over
Youth : $10.00, Ages between 10 and 17
Child : No Fees. Ages 9 and below walk free
Walk-in : $20.00 On site registration
Event Info : We are excited to hold our 7th annual walkathon on Sunday, June 21, at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills. This is a family friendly event. There will be lots of fun activities for all ages. We will have yummy snacks available before and after the walk. The registration fee includes the snacks, and activities. We look forward to this year's Walkathon and would love to see you all in big numbers. Together, we will continue to raise our voice against domestic violence by supporting the survivors and taking steps to prevent domestic violence. We hope that you will join us and support our cause. The funds raised will be used directly toward supporting survivors of domestic violence with safe housing, food, legal fees, medical care and other necessities. No pets are allowed at this Park.

Event Details : Jun 21st 2015, Location: Farmington Hills,Michigan Domestic violence refers to a pattern of physical, sexual, verbal, emotional, economic abuse inflicted by one partner over another in a relationship. Did you know that domestic violence happens in our South Asian community? In fact, 80% of calls we receive on our helpline are related to domestic violence. All of us at Mai Family Services encourage you to put your best foot forward to end domestic violence in our community. Mai Family Services hosts its 7th annual walkathon Walk to Stop Domestic Violence on Sunday, June 21, 2015.
